Experts
The project 49ART brings together leading experts on contemporary Russian art including representatives of museum community, art critics, gallery owners, curators and art market experts.
The aim of the Rating Council is approving of the rating principles and experts personalities and verification of the rating results according to the Rating methodology.
Each member of the Expert Council proposes 49 artists who meet the requirements of the rating methodology. The final rating list is formed on the basis of the expert opinions.
The final rating list of 49ART is not a consolidated expert evaluation. It includes artists who got votes of at least half of the experts.
