Alisa Prudnikova is one of the key figures in the Russian art space of recent years. A native of Yekaterinburg and a graduate of the Ural State University, Alisa became in fact a pioneer in contemporary art promoting in the Urals region. In 2005- 2016 she headed the Urals branch of the National Center for Contemporary Art (NCCA). Prudnikova became the creator of the Ural Industrial Biennale - the largest regional initiative in the field of contemporary art and the most important event in the cultural life both at the regional and federal level.

Since 2017 she is the Regional Development Director of ROSIZO-NCCA.

Organizer and participant of more than 20 interregional and international conferences. Member of the HESP (Higher Education in Spatial Planning) program - Alternative Culture (2006-2009), Teaching the Spatial Turn: Critical Concepts for a Globalizing World (2010-2012).

Member of the Board of the International Biennial Association.
